Bachelor of Mass Media – B.M.S.

About the Course

This course was introduced by the University of Mumbai in the year 1999-2000. With the growing demand for professionally qualified management executives, the program has been especially designed to create middle cadre management personnel.

It is a three-year degree program, with six semesters, managed by a full-time faculty and visiting faculty drawn from the Industrial and Corporate sectors.• The College is committed to providing in-depth training using the latest equipment in computers, practical experience, industrial visits and summer placements, wherever possible.

Examination Pattern

The performance of the learners will be evaluated in two Components. One component will be the Internal Assessment component carrying 25% marks and the second component will be the Semester-wise End Examination component carrying 75% marks. The allocation of marks for the Internal Assessment and Semester End Examinations will be as shown below:-

A) Internal Assessment: 25 % B) Semester End Examination: 75 %

F.Y.B.M.S & S.Y.B.M.S

Examination for F.Y.B.M.S. & S.Y.B.M.S will be conducted by College in accordance with the rules and regulation of Mumbai University and circulars issued by it from time to time. The students are required to appear for following examination during an academic year:-
